Baking away

Aleigha got an Eazy Bake oven for Christmas

and absolutley loves it. I, however do not. It

doesn't seem to be as good as I remember when

I was young but she enjoys mixing her stuff up

so that's all that counts, right?

 

 

We whipped up some Red Velvet cupcakes

a few weeks ago.

 

And she approves :)

Mardi Gras

Last weekend we headed to the Mardi Gras parade

with my family. The kiddos had so much fun.

From my Phone, Lately

I have tons of pics from my iphone that I figure I might

as well post. Latley the weather has started cooling off and

we've been able to spend more time outside & I love it.

 

Aleigha loves evening walks so she can ride her bike!

Dance day again, then we headed to eat mexican

afterwards with Mamaw!

 

And of couse it's that season again & my sweets

stays sick. A few trips to the doctor & I think

were finally on the road to recover!

 

There is an upside to my hyper girl being sick and these

sweet snuggles is one of them!

 

A trip to the arcade lifted her spirits some! So glad my sweet

girl is starting to feel better but until she's 100%

 

we'll lay low inside and do what she loves the most...

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we had some time to kill before

Aleigha's soccer game and I had my nephew, Eli,

with me so I decided to take them to the pumpkin patch.

 

Sometimes they "love" each other :)

 



 

She picked out a pumpkin for her & 1 for Tripp

 

 

 

They wanted to get their faces painted...

 

Eli wanted ghost & spiders with blood on them,

typical boy :)

 

And my girl wanted LSU painted on her face...

She knows what's good!



Heart Walk 2012

Last weekend we attended the Northwest Louisiana

Heart Walk in memory of my Dad. After my Dad's

first heart attack we started doing the heart walk

every year and he really enjoyed it so now we'll

just continue to do it for him. It was super cold but we all

had alot of fun.

1st Soccer Game

Aleigha started soccer this year and we got lucky because her

and Addi are on the same team, Yay!!

 

 

Henry stepped up to be the coach and I think they are both enjoying themselves

 

She played the shy role at first and wasnt to fond of being out there.



But she loosened up a little and got out there in the end. They were

all so cute & I'm looking forward to the next few months of

soccer filled weekends :) She's enjoying herself but her heart

is still with dance and that makes me happy!
